ANU Policy Brief is a digital platform for time-poor policymakers needing quick access to evidence-based research.
It features digestible and actionable briefs drawn from the University’s full range of expertise across the campus – whether that’s in renewable energy, the cost of living, taxation and more.
ANU Policy Brief helps policymakers, and those seeking to influence policy, navigate issues of importance to all Australians. It’s a trusted source of policy expertise and a gateway to the most relevant policy resources and ANU experts.
It forms part of the distinct national mission of ANU to deliver research and expertise to help the nation meet the major policy challenges it faces.
ANU Policy Brief is led by an Editor and a Deputy Editor. They love writing and they love policy. Let them know if there’s a policy brief you want to see by emailing policybrief@anu.edu.au
Amy Capuano
Editor, ANU Policy Brief
E amy.capuano@anu.edu.au
Amy Capuano has spent most of her career explaining policy ideas in plain English. She joins ANU from the public service, where she wrote speeches for the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Education Minister. Before that she was a journalist, working at CNN in Hong Kong, the BBC World Service in London, and the Insight program on SBS TV. She’s also studying a Masters of International Relations part time at ANU but is nowhere near finishing. She likes yoga and salami.
